am replacing a burned-out ECU on a 2002 Audi TT (8N series) with the 1.8T AUQ engine. The original ECU was completely destroyed, so it is impossible to extract or read the factory flash file.
The replacement ECU shares the exact same hardware numbers, but it contains software version 003, whereas my original ECU ran on software version 002.
Because of this version mismatch, the vehicle has entered a hard limp mode with zero throttle acceleration. It is throwing a permanent fault code for a "brake vacuum pump circuit malfunction." My specific car does not use an electric auxiliary vacuum pump from the factory; the braking system pulls vacuum directly from the intake manifold.
Does anyone happen to have a stock v002 flash bin file matching this engine that they could share?
