Version 8.28.0.0 of Flex introduces exclusive OBD programming support for Kefico SIM2K-510 ECUs installed on Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
The new Flex protocol makes it simple: connect directly to the OBD port, download the Virtual Read and make your modifications.
If the Virtual Read is not available, Flex also supports OBD on Bench, allowing technicians to perform the real read.
Automatic Unit Unlock
Both in OBD and OBD on Bench, the Kefico SIM2K-510 will unlock automatically during the first procedure, whether it is a real read or a writing operation.
Support for CAN-FD Versions
As for versions using the CAN-FD communication, a real read can be performed by following the connection scheme shown in the manual.
Writing operations must be performed using the new CAN-FD FLX4.4 adapter.
