Greetings to all!
Car: Chevrolet Cruze 1.8 (141 hp, 2011), Simtec 76.1 ECU. Tools: Alex Flasher (OpenBox) and Chinese OpenPort 2.0 (black board).
I successfully flashed the stock firmware via OBD, and the connection was stable. Now I plan to flash modified calibrations (for a cold thermostat and fans).

Questions for experienced craftsmen:
- How safe is it to burn this block using a Chinese OpenPort clone via Alex Flasher?
- Is there a risk of "failing" the block when writing only calibrations if the reading was successful?
- How safe is it to burn this block using a Chinese OpenPort clone via Alex Flasher?
- Is it necessary to further modify the black OpenPort board before recording (capacitors, resistors)?
- If the recording is interrupted, will Alex restore this unit via OBD or only via K-Tag/Boot
Thanks in advance for your advice and experience!
