Greetings to all!

Car: Chevrolet Cruze 1.8 (141 hp, 2011), Simtec 76.1 ECU. Tools: Alex Flasher (OpenBox) and Chinese OpenPort 2.0 (black board).
I successfully flashed the stock firmware via OBD, and the connection was stable. Now I plan to flash modified calibrations (for a cold thermostat and fans).

Questions for experienced craftsmen:

1. How safe is it to burn this block using a Chinese OpenPort clone via Alex Flasher?
   1. Is there a risk of "failing" the block when writing only calibrations if the reading was successful?
   2. How safe is it to burn this block using a Chinese OpenPort clone via Alex Flasher?
   3. Is it necessary to further modify the black OpenPort board before recording (capacitors, resistors)?
   4. If the recording is interrupted, will Alex restore this unit via OBD or only via K-Tag/Boot
