Good morning. I have the same problem, central med 17.7.2, attached image 1. It is possible via PCM flash to read and write EEPROM, also possible to read flash. However, writing modified flash or the one from the central unit that I read, is not possible. The message "Please use correct password" appears, attached image 2. I used protocol 71 for reading and writing as described above. I did not try to write with PCM Flash via OBD, but other tools such as New Genius and Trasdata tried to write without success. I bought another identical unit med 17.7.2, image 3, and the error only occurs when writing flash using protocol 71 via Boot on the bench. The vehicle is a 2014 C200 that has already had its engine unit physically modified because the ECU has used resale marks. I don't know what else to do since writing flash was not possible in both units.

The first attached image is from the vehicle's original unit. Can you tell me why when I try to write the flash from the unit itself or the Flash .bin already modified by the tuner, using PCM Flash 1.2.0, it says that the correct password must be used?

I just want to write a modified firmware but as I couldn't (because an error occurs when writing to Flash saying that the correct password has to be entered), then I was already trying to clone which in the same way in another unit did not accept writing to flash, accusing the same error of needing to enter the correct password (error attached, second photo I posted).

I was going to do the clone because I understood that the problem could be in the hardware of the central that I am trying to write the modified Farmer but I realized that it is not because the other Central also does not accept writing Flash.
